Youtheme Corporate Identity - Logo

First off, how do you pronounce Youtheme? We've got several versions from the feedback of its readers:

1. You - The - Me. LOL!
2. You - Theme.
3. Youth - Theme. This is how we actually pronounce it.
   

Why the name, youtheme? Well, We are into the youth market, so we hope that this will become the 'theme' for the youths. On the other hand, the portal is about involving all youths for aspiration and innovation, while getting a safer platform for socialization course; hence Youtheme is about "You", is about "Them", is about "Me".

The Logo

Since Youtheme Online targeting at the youth-driven market segment, we want a corporate identity that reflects the true personality of Youtheme Online - dynamic, creative, exciting.

Hence, our PR team has drafted several options to choose from. These are as follows:


The team has had a thorough discussion to argue about the pros and cons of each of the proposed logo.

However, we finally has come to the same accord to choose





as our corporate logo.

The rationale?

This logo represents the ideal identity of Youtheme. The color is dynamic and trendy, the layout is simple yet elegant. Notice the 'Y' figure in the 3D round form? This depicts Y - the first initial of Youtheme whilst it also represents a human icon - a person rejoicing with both of his hands up, surfacing from the bottom to the top.

The only downside about this logo is its 3D design, which posts a minor difficulty in getting it printed in physical material.
