Programs at Youtheme Online

Youtheme can be seen as the deluxe version of global youth dialogue. This vast website is home to a set of interrelated online projects that offer young people connections, resources, opportunities, and choices. Lots and lots of choices...

For a young person seeking a portal into global issues or a chance to talk with peers from around the region, this site is dazzling launching pad.

Online Community Engagement

  • Youtheme.org is a global online network that inspires young people to make a difference, is a source of information on opportunities to take action, and a bridge to get involved in the local and global community. Youtheme.org is accessible in English, and has plans to expand into other major languages in the world.

Student & Educational Engagement

  • Youtheme.org operates educational programs that connect Youtheme.org with the formal school environment. Our efforts are focused on helping school administrators, teachers, and parents the meaningful ways to use technology in schools, creating curriculum and extra-curriculum utilizing online tools that introduce students to global issues, and providing tools to help schools integrate and accommodate relevant innovative learning experiences happening outside school .

Thematic Engagement Around Major Global Challenges

  • Youtheme.org is developing a series of thematic strategies to mobilize youth around important global challenges - through networks, awards, financing, mentorship and events. Current priority topics are the Digital Divide, Youth Development Goals, Environments, and Youth Issues.

Organizational Engagement

  • Youtheme.org is working to connect and empower youth organizations to become more effective in their important work. Our efforts are focused on providing online spaces of knowledge sharing and management of international and local networks to help bring continuity and support collaboration.

Local Engagement

  • Youtheme.org recognizes that our programs are only relevant to young people if they are in local languages, provide connection to opportunities close-by, reflect what's going on in their community, and are inclusive of those who do not yet have access to the Internet. Our local strategy is to see Youtheme.org fully multilingual, hold in-person Youtheme Open Forums, and in selected countries build intensive partnerships to expand content and outreach.
