Research is shaping the future of information security, says Bohne.
(ISC)2 director of communications and member services Sarah E. Bohne says it may award up to eight full-time postgraduates to fund research in information security areas such as access control, policy, network threat detection, analysis and mitigation, risk analysis and cryptography, at any regionally accredited university worldwide.
"The scholarship is part of (ISC)2's effort to advance the field of information security through education and research.
"We are honoured to provide opportunities for emerging leaders to continue their critical research that is shaping the future of our profession," says Bohne.
Applicants from any part of the world can apply for this scholarship. There is no fixed allocation for any specific country applicants as it depends on research and financial needs.

Deadline is April 30. The awards will be announced in June.
Previous winners of the scholarship may reapply, and applications may be submitted for multiple projects.
